From the very beginning, we as exhibitors have experienced the heimtextil trade fair as a source of inspiration, a platform for exchanging knowledge and a place to present our new products, which are later available to buy in stores. We are grateful for countless valuable contacts and look back proudly on 50 moving trade fair exhibitions.

As the world’s largest trade fair, Heimtextil is of existential importance for our industry. There is hardly any other trade fair that can boast such a successful history. Since the first event in January 1971 with 679 exhibitors, massive investments have been made over the decades in the quality of the trade fair and in information and inspiration for the industry.
The anniversary edition of Heimtextil offered the most comprehensive event programme in its history: over 150 lectures and discussion panels, 30 guided tours of the fair and numerous other programme items. Above all, the highly frequented “Trend Space” with its globally unique trend staging provided important industry content with its finger on the pulse of the times. “Inquisitive retailers who make a difference in the market and move with the times get their impetus for the new season here in Frankfurt.
