Environmental compatibility, animal welfare and sustainability in general do not stop at bedding. As a pioneer and innovation leader in the industry, we at billerbeck have been focussing on environmentally friendly products and resource-conserving and pollutant-free production for years.
The down for our down duvets is subjected to strict quality checks and carefully selected. We only use guaranteed traceable goose down and feathers from geese that have not been plucked alive or kept for foie gras production. For our high quality standards, it goes without saying that we only process down from controlled sources, species-appropriate husbandry and not from live animals.
Organic-Sortiment mit GOTS-Zertifikat
Our organic range, which has been GOTS-certified since 2015 and is manufactured using resource-saving production methods, includes duvets, pillows and neck support pillows as well as a topper and a mattress.
This nature-oriented bedding programme meets our requirements for sustainable products that are free from synthetic raw materials. Only renewable organic materials are used in production, as evidenced by certifications from renowned institutes and recognised standards.
The organic product range therefore fulfils the highest demands and the strict guidelines of the “Global Organic Textile Standard” (GOTS), among others. It stands for the best organic quality along all stages of the textile production chain and also requires compliance with social criteria.

Our natural latex mattress “COSICOMFORT®” combines the advantages of an ergonomic organic mattress with natural latex. The entire mattress is characterised by GOTS-certified natural materials that are guaranteed to come from controlled organic cultivation and controlled organic animal husbandry. The mattress core is made of 100% natural Natural Vita Talalay latex with no artificial additives.
