It is often underestimated – mattress care! But with the following tips, you can increase the lifespan of your mattress and maintain good sleeping comfort for a long time:<\/p>\n

1. Fold back the duvet in the morning after getting up so that the mattress can deflate quickly.<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. Make sure that your mattress is regularly<\/strong> ventilated from below and above – preferably in the sun<\/strong>, as it kills germs – to prevent mould and mites from forming.<\/p>\n

3. It is best to turn your mattress every time you change your bed linen by swapping<\/strong> the head and foot ends.<\/strong><\/p>\n

4. If you do not use a mattress with different sides, such as a summer or winter side, it is advisable to turn the mattress every two to three months<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

5. Nowadays you should avoid beating out the mattress, which was often done in the past. This is because beating out can damage the inside of many modern mattresses.<\/p>\n

8. On average, mattresses last around eight to ten years<\/strong> with good care.
