Recycling information

French recycling symbol for shipping to France

The Triman logo is the most important recycling symbol in online commerce for France. Products with the symbol belong in the recycling or waste paper bin.

Decree No. 2014-1577 made it compulsory in France since 1 January 2015 to display the Triman logo on recyclable products and on packaging that usually ends up in household waste.

The labelling obligations are anchored in the French Environmental Code (Code de l'environnement Art. L541-9-3) and come into force on 1 January 2022.
