For us, success means combining economic stability with the continuous improvement of our social and environmental performance. In doing so, we focus on concrete measures, clear objectives and the requirements arising from our business activities.

One key focus is the responsible use of resources. This includes, amongst other things, the planning of material flows, the selection and use of raw materials, energy consumption and the further development of our production and business processes.

Furthermore, our social and cultural engagement is important to us. For many years, we have been supporting selected projects and organisations, thereby taking on responsibility beyond our immediate business activities.

With this CSR report, we aim to transparently outline the measures billerbeck is implementing in the areas of corporate governance, the environment, employees, the supply chain and social engagement, and how these issues are incorporated into our business processes.

In doing so, we deliberately distinguish between measures already implemented, ongoing developments and future goals. We relate environmental and social statements to specific circumstances and, where possible, make them verifiable using key figures, standards, certifications or other evidence.

Our aim is to regularly review our processes and structures and to further develop them where there are specific opportunities for improvement.
