Foreword

Dear readers For over 100 years, the actions of the family-owned company billerbeck have been determined by an orientation towards long-term success.

Following the company's mission statement, for us being successful means not only sustainably increasing our economic results, but also continuously developing the company's ecological and social performance.

Therefore, on the one hand, we are committed to using the resources given to us carefully and responsibly and, on the other hand, to planning material flows intelligently.

A special concern of ours is our cultural commitment, with which we have been involved in society for many years and want to help shape it positively.

In this sustainability report, we would therefore like to show in detail how the interplay between social commitment and responsible corporate management functions and is practised at billerbeck.

It is our goal as a company to continue to consistently integrate sustainability into our processes. In doing so, we are aware of both our ecological and social responsibility and perceive it as a holistic challenge.

In our CSR report, we would like to give you an insight into billerbeck's wide range of sustainability activities, which we intend to continue to develop steadily in the future.
