The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the leading and internationally valid certification for textiles made from organically produced natural materials as well as for their cultivation and production. The independent standard covers the entire process of production, guaranteeing that agricultural conditions, manufacturing and packaging follow the strict guidelines of the GOTS. Only then do the pillows receive the GOTS seal, identifying them as certified organic, sustainable, and animal and environmentally friendly.

The classic pillow in organic quality. Pillows with goose down and feathers have always impressed with their exceptionally cozy lying comfort and excellent support. At billerbeck, we source our down and feathers exclusively from GOTS-certified, species-appropriate and controlled organic animal husbandry. It goes without saying that our organic goose down and feathers come neither from live plucking, nor from stuffed fattening or foie gras production and are guaranteed traceable.

Virgin sheep's wool from certified organic livestock is also a popular filling material for our organic pillows. It is extremely moisture and temperature regulating, breathable, self-cleaning and neutralizes odors. Thanks to its puffy properties, a pillow with a filling of organic virgin sheep's wool provides excellent lying comfort and optimally supports the head during sleep.

Not only the filling material of our organic pillows is GOTS certified. The covers of the pillows also come from controlled organic cultivation. Here we use soft, skin-friendly and cozy soft batiste made of 100% organic cotton, which is easy to care for, washable and hard-wearing. Our billerbeck Zirberella® stone pine pillows are GOTS certified and combine organic goose down and feathers or organic virgin sheep's wool with the pleasant and relaxing scent of stone pine. The Swiss stone pine flakes of our organic Swiss stone pine pillows come from sustainable forestry.
